Isaac stayed with Parker the rest of the afternoon. After cleaning the kitchen from lunch, they cuddled on the sofa and watched t.v. dosing off and on. Susan began to get sleepy, so she went to her room to take a anp. Now that they were alone, Isaac wanted Parker to wake up. He sat for several minutes watching her. She looked so peaceful. Her mouth was open slightly and he wanted so badly to kiss those beautiful full lips.

Within a few minutes, Isaac's eyes started to feel heavy. He leaned his head against the back of the sofa to rest his eyes for just a minute and was soon asleep himself.

Parker, in her sleep, heard Isaac begin to snore softly. She opened her eyes and rolled over so she could see him better. He looked gorgeous sleeping. "I could watch him forever," she thought. "Better yet, I want to kiss those lips!" She looked around and noticed that Susan was gone.

She suddenly got a boldness like she had never known. She had had her head on Isaac's lap, so she carefully sat up so that she wouldn't wake him and slowly lowered her lips to his.

Isaac jumped slightly when he felt her feather light touch, but once he realized what was going on, he returned her kiss. He reached his hand up to the back of her head and ran his fingers through her hair. As he did this, Parker could also feel his mouth open slightly. She followed his lead and soon his tongue was exploring her mouth.

Parker pulled away and just sat there staring at his face as she cradled it in her hands. "What's wrong?" Isaac asked her.

"Nothing," she replied. "I just want to look at you, memorize every feature."

Isaac looked at her in bewilderment. "Why would you want to do that?"

"You are beautiful!" she told him shyly. She took her hands off his face and put them in her lap. She could feel her face growing warm, so she looked down at her hands to keep Isaac from noticing her embarrassment. "I want to remember every feature. I want to remember your gorgeous brown eyes and your lopsided smile. I want to remember the way your hair is tucked behind your ears, so that it makes your ears stick out a little." Isaac blushed at her compliments. He had grown quiet, so Parker looked up at him to see his reaction. She watched his face go from normal flesh tones to rosy to bright red. She could feel herself begin to blush again at his response. "I'm sorry. I'm being too forward." She looked at the floor again.

"No, you're not," Isaac reassured her. "I rather liked it." He lifted her chin with his hand. His mouth was already open when they made contact, and his tongue was in her mouth almost immediately. At the force and unexpectedness of this contact, Parker let out a slight moan. Isaac took that as a positive and began to let his hands roam her back. Parker reached up and began to play with his hair. This time it was Isaac's turn. "Oh, my, that feels good," he muttered with his mouth still on hers. A couple more flickers of her tongue and Parker pulled away, turned herself around and sat in the crook of his arm.

"I feel like we've done too much and we're not even going together," she said explaining her actions.

"I agree," Isaac answered.

Parker began to change the channels on the t.v. In Tulsa, on Sundays, they always show movies. Some were older and some were fairly new, but the nice thing was that you didn't have to have HBO to watch them. She kept channel surfing until she came to 'Liar, Liar,' starring Jim Carrey. "I love this movie!" Isaac exclaimed.

"Me too," Parker agreed with him. "I don't really care for Jim Carrey too much, but I loved him in this movie. It is too hilarious!" She laughed thinking about some of the antics in the movie. They sat back to watch.

Isaac slipped his arm around her shoulder and began to tickle her upper arms with his fingers. Parker situated herself in the crook of his arm. She loved being like this. Just the closeness made her feel special and Isaac was definitely a special man. The only thing that would make this more special was being his girlfriend. Parker was almost shocked when she thought that. She was really beginning to like Isaac, but was it enough to want to put up with his lifestyle? He wasn't into anything bad like drinking, drugs, or sex with tons of girls, but he traveled a lot. Was she ready for a long distance relationship? Plus, she was going to be shopping her demo album to record companies when it was done and that would mean she would be traveling. Oh, well. Isaac hadn't made any move in that direction and until he did, she wasn't going to worry about that.

Parker glanced down at her watch. It was about 4:45, and she knew from the movie that it was about over. "Hey, Isaac, should we begin talking about what to do tonight?"

"Yeah. I was thinking dinner and then maybe a short walk through the ORU campus."

"That sounds wonderful," she answered him.

"I was thinking that we would leave for the retaurant at about 5:30. Is that alright with you?"

"That sounds fine."

Susan walked out of her bedroom groggily. "I'm going to Eden's house. I'll be back later. It may be late, because I haven't seen her in a while and we have a lot to catch up on." She grabbed her jacket and her purse and headed out the door. "Oh, by the way. I'm glad to see you guys have some self-control, but Parker, your lipstick is smudged." She pulled the door open and then turned back to the two lovebirds on the couch. "So is yours, Ike." She winked and walked out the door."

"Oh, man! Do I have lipstick on me?" Isaac asked in a desparate voice.

"No, because I wasn't wearing any. She's just trying to tease us."

"Your cousin is awful," he stated with conviction.

"Yep! I taught her everthing she knows." Parker winked at Isaac.

"Oh, you did, did you?" Isaac said as he began to tickle Parker. She rolled off the couch shrieking for him to stop, but he followed her body, his hands never leaving her sides and stomache. Isaac ended the tickle fest by placing his lips on hers. "Man, she tastes good!" Isaac though. Paker kissed him back with a fevency that almost scared her.

She pulled back. "I'm going to get ready for us to go."

"What do you need to do to get ready? You look fantastic!" Isaac said pulling her down onto the sofa and planting a kiss firmly on her eagerly waiting lips.

"Mmm...I need to go change. You wait her." Parker got up and Isaac started to follow her into her room. When Parker realized where he was, she chased him out. "Isaac!"

"Sorry," he said with a sheepish grin. "I was sure that you asked for my help."

Parker was breathing heavily and her heart was pounding. She wanted him to come in and help her get dressed, but it wasn't right. "Even if you came in and didn't watch, it wouldn't be right."

"You're right. I'm sorry," he ansered her is a very serious tone.

She closed her door and locked it. No need to allow him to surprise her, or allow herself an easy way out if either of them got any bolder. She had made a committment to keep herself pure until marriage, no matter how hard it was and she had every intention of keeping that promise.

Parker went to her closet and pulled out a purple baby tee and a pair of jeans. After putting these on, she got out her purple Dr. Martens and put those on. She hung up her other clothes and grabbed her cropped purple sweater. When she walked out of her room, Isaac looked up at her.

"Woah! You look great!" he complimented her.

"Thanks," she answered shyly. She looked down at her shoes, suddenly self-conscious.

Isaac put his hand under her chin and gently drew her gaze upward. He touched his lips to hers. "You look beautiful," he said when he pulled away from the kiss.

"We'd better get going," Parker reminded him.

"You're right. Are you ready to go?"

"Yep." They walked out the front door and Parker locked it behind them.

Isaac went around to the passenger side of his black 2000 Toyota Rav 4 and opened the door for Parker. When she was in the seat and situated, Isaac shut her door and walked around the vehicle and got in the driver's seat.

Isaac manuevered out of her apartment complex and onto Lewis Street. He drove down to 71st and took a right to go to the restaurant. They sat in thoughtful silence until Isaac asked, "How long have you wanted to be a singer?"

"Since I could talk," Parker confessed. "My brothers and sisters and I used to make up songs and we would perform them for family and friends. My mom even taped some of the songs we did."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Pretty stupid, huh?"

"I don't think so. I think it's pretty neat."

"So, when did you realize that you wanted to sing?" she inquired of him.

"Ya know. I'm not too sure about that. My mom and dad taught Taylor, Zac and I to harmonize with 'Amen' at the dinner table during the blessing. Shortly after that, I started writing lyrics and putting them with melodies. My brothers and I would also learn the harmonies to the '50s and '60s songs that we would listen to. We decided that we liked singing together, so we just did it. I'm not sure when the exact moment was when we said we wanted to try to get a recording contract. It just sort of evolved that way."

As Isaac finished speaking, they pulled into the restaurant parking lot. "It doesn't look very busy," Parker commented.

"No, it doesn't. That's good for us."

"I can't believe we're eating Italian again after having it for lunch," Parker said with a laugh.

"I know," Isaac answered. "But I could live on Italian food. I love it!" Isaac held the door open so Parker could walk through, then he purposefully strode to the hostess stand. "Two please."

"Smoking or non-smoking?" the hostess asked.

"Non-smoking, please." "O.K. Follow me." The hostess led them to the back of the restaurant to a cozy table for two. "Anna will be your server," she said as she set the menus down.

Isaac walked around to pull out Parker's chair. "Thank you! What a gentleman. Your parents trained you well," Parker said with a laugh.

A few minutes later their server showed up. "Hi, I'm Anna and I'll be your server tonight. May, I start you off with something to drink, and maybe an appetizer?"

"I'll have a diet coke," Parker told the girl.

"I'll have a Diet Coke too," Isaac said.

"I don't think I want an appetizer."

"Well, could you please bring us an order of mozzerella sticks?" Isaac told Anna. "We can share them," Isaac said to Parker. Parker nodded her acknowledgment.

"Let me get those drinks and I'll be right back to take your order," Anna said hurrying off.

"Thank you so much for taking me out, Isaac."

"Hey, no problem. I'm doing this for purely selfish reasons, you know."

"Oh, and what might those be?" she asked, her eyebrows raised in wonderment.

"Because I wanted to spend time with you alone and I figured this was the only way to do it," he said with a twinkle in his eye.

Before Parker could say anything else, Anna showed up with their drinks and their appetizer. "Now, what can I get for you tonight?"

Isaac pointed at Parker telling her to go ahead. "I'll have the beef ravioli."

"Good choice. And for you, sir?"

"I'll have the same."

"Thank you, and I'll be right out with your salad and bread sticks," Anna said taking the menus from the couple.

Isaac and Parker talked about everything through dinner. They talked about family and friends, hopes and dreams, movies they had seen and books they had read, and a variety of other subjects. Before they knew it, they were done eating and Isaac was paying the bill. He handed Anna his credit card and she hurried off to run it through the credit card machine. When she returned the card to him, he entered the tip, figured the total and signed it taking the white copy for himself.

They headed out to the car and after Isaac opened the door for Parker and helped her into the car, they sped towards the Oral Roberts University campus. The two of them had figured out that they both loved walking through the campus. It was so peaceful at night. Isaac parked the Rav 4 in one of the many parking lots and the couple got out of the vehicle. Isaac walked around to Parker's side of the car and opened the door for her.

"I want to show you my favorite spot," Isaac told her taking hold of her hand and leading her away.

He led her to a park-like area with a bench that was situated under a huge tree. Isaac sat down on the bench and pulled Parker down next to him. "I love coming here. It's so peaceful. I could sit here for hours." Parker nodded her agreement. The only thing she could concentrate on was the feel of his arms around her. Before she knew what was happening, Isaac's face was coming towards her. She could feel his breath on her cheek as he moved closer to her. In one more motion, his lips were on hers and he gave her a slow peck. In another motion, he slowly began to slide his tongue into her mouth. She opened her mouth at the touch of his touch and began to caress his tongue with hers. He let a small moan escape his lips. "Oh, Parker," he moaned again. Isaac ran his lips down her neck and then back up to his lips. He pulled away from her suddenly.

"What's wrong?" Parker wondered.

"Umm...I just wanted to stop before things got too heated. Parker, there's something you need to know."

She search his face for any clue as to what that might be. "What is it?" she asked.
